  • Additional Services

    If you need interpreting services, please select this service first before selecting your appointment type. 
    • Interpreting service $160
      Interpreting services are provided at cost. The fee is $2 per minute, with a 15-minute minimum. We collect the fee for an 80 minute conversation, and will refund you any remaining funds after we have been invoiced by the interpreter. 
  • Patients

    • Genetic consultation $400
      Unless there are unique circumstances in working with a donor who has already had an assessment with Advocate Genetics, this is the typical service type for most new patients. This service includes assessment of at least three generations of family health history, appropriate genetic counseling and recommendations for genetic testing/follow-up. This level of genetic consult is intended for the following common indications:

      • Specific family history concern 
      • Consideration of PGT or post-PGT test results consultation
      • Self pay donor evaluation/match consult package
      • Family history of chromosome abnormality
      • Carrier screening results counseling
      • Infertility or recurrent miscarriages
      • General preconception counseling

    • Egg donor match consultation (for intended parents) $200
      This is a consultation for intended parents to explain any genetic risks identified with the donor consultation (which is typically billed to the agency/clinic and must have already been completed prior to this appointment), as well as review of other risks and testing options in pregnancy. Review of paternal family history is assessed at this consult, if available.
    • Embryo donor match information (for intended parents) $200
      This is a service for intended parents to further explain any genetic risks identified with the embryo donor risk assessment (which is typically billed to the agency/clinic and must have already been completed prior to this appointment).
  • Donors

    • Egg donor genetic review
      This is an assessment of at least three generations of an egg donor's family health history and review of relevant medical records. Recommendations for appropriate genetic testing and informed consent for such testing will be arranged as part of this service. 
    • Embryo donor genetic review
      This is an assessment of at least three generations of an embryo donor's family health history and review of relevant medical records.  Recommendations for appropriate genetic testing (of genetic parents) and informed consent for such testing will be arranged as part of this service.
